Ses 5G project – Secure Environment supervisor empowered by Satellite and 5G, co-funded by ESA and coordinated by Leonardo was presented on March 23 in a press event with Mrs. Virginia Raggi – Mayor of Roma Capitale. The project aims to develop and test a solution for the surveillance of Castel Fusano Pineta – the largest green area in Rome of 916 hectares, five km south-east of the mouth of the Tiber. The Pineta will be monitored h24 in real-time thanks to a solution based on sensors, satellites, and drones to detect fires, illegal entry of vehicles, and abandonment of waste up to the creation of illegal settlements. Radiolabs is involved on definition of deep Learning algorithms for audio recognition of criminal events and for managing the telecom subsystem.
